Cooper City's 51st Founder's Day Events

COOPER CITY'S 51st FOUNDER’S DAY PARADE and FESTIVITIES

SATURDAY, APRIL 24th

MORNING EVENTS held at the Community Center, 9000 SW 50th Place, 954-434-4300 x 233 7:30-10:30 a.m.

Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast - Tickets on sale at the door. 8:00 a.m.

One Mile 90th Ave Family Fun Run, Walk, Stroll 9:30 AM, Cost: $7.00 per person includes commemorative T-shirt. Register at the Community Center or Pool & Tennis Center.

Kiddie Show - Held on the Community Center front lawn. 10:00 a.m.

PARADE - Travels one mile along SW 90th Avenue from Cooper City Community Center to Cooper City High School beginning at 10:00 a.m.. Parade entry forms available at the Community Center, the Pool & Tennis Center or online at www.CooperCityFL.org.

AFTERNOON EVENTS held at Brian Piccolo County Park, 9501 Sheridan Street, 954.437.2600

1:00-5:00 p.m. Car Show, Call 954.434.1047 for entry information.
1:30 p.m. Optimist All-Star Baseball Games
3:00-6:00 p.m. Community Stage Presentations
3:00-8:00 p.m. Arts and Crafts Show - A variety of vendors to visit!
3:00-9:00 p.m. Food Booths - Support our local youth organizations.
3:30 p.m. Fun Bingo Held under the big tent. All ages!
4:00-8:00 p.m. Children’s Games and Activities - local clubs and organizations providing fun activities for children!
4:00-7:00 p.m. BSO Expo - Fingerprinting, helicopter landing, K-9 Presentation, Fire trucks and more!
4:30-5:30 p.m. Youth Free Throw Contest, K-12th grades.
6:30-9:00 p.m. CONCERT IN THE PARK - Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blanket!
9:00 p.m. FIREWORKS - Brian Piccolo County Park weekend gate entrance fee is $1.50 per person. Children 5 and under are free.

SUNDAY, APRIL 25th

ANNUAL FOUNDER’S DAY GOLF CLASSIC - hosted by the Cooper City Optimist Club. For registration & additional information call 305.970.4818

JOIN IN ON THE CELEBRATION! Individuals, groups, and organizations wishing to participate in Cooper City’s 51st

Founder’s Parade and Festivities are asked to please stop by the Community Center or call the Recreation Department at 954-434-4300 x 233 for details.
